22/11 was the day when the zuprite train is during maintenance. Because I don't aware it (mostly because the website is a bit misleading and language barrier as I don't know German) So I went to the info center and ask for help. The worker suggested a route around the town, but I asked one more plan just to let ourselves have more plan. Later, I realised the route to lake Eibsee haven't close, and I doubt why I told them I want to go Zuprite (whcih usually accompanied with the visit to lake Eibsee) do not told me plan to lake Eibsee.
The worse is when I walked back and ask for more info to lake Eibsee, one lady told me to go to a bus stop that is not using (just for 22 and 23/11) and not only me but also some other visitors missed the bus to lake Eibsee. The next bus will be two hours later.
I understand the maintenance work is kind of short and not every one knows it. But a tourist info center should work close with local transport and ensure providing useful guidance to all visitors, isn't it? especially all the notice in bus stop is just in German (after passing the time that the bus should come, we found there is a notice sticks on the wall of the bus stop in German, we eventually use google translate to learn about we miss the two-hour-frequency bus)
One good thing I can say is the workers here are quite polite.
Very helpful when I was here. They were aware of the hikes and the estimated time to finish them. Hikes here are truly a gem! Highly recommend going on 1. I took the one beside the Olympia stadium!
Garmisch is a beautiful place, especially for those who admire of nature) nice and quite town. In tourist-center you can get all information you need)
The female staff helped us make a call to our airbnb host in Farchant, but when she passed the phone to me, the host on the phone did not speak English. I asked if the female staff could help me say in German "we will check in at 3pm", but she simply threw her hands up in the air and shrugged. So, she will only help us put through a call but she refused to help us translate and say a short sentence.
Very helpfull staff
Great, on point advice, better than what Google can provide. Plus you get a classic German "you're welcome" from the staff after thanking them for their help (the kind that suggests that it wasn't but a thang to provide the information you asked for because it pertained to very obvious knowledge that every single person, except you, knows).
People who is working was so friendly and nice, they was trying to help for as
Thank you for that ❤❤❤
